Selected as a finalist for the Kumeu Arts Awards. This piece will be exhibiting 2 - 26 November. Available to purchase through the exhibition.
Ocean Drift reflects the quiet pull of the sea - its shifting depths, fleeting light, and endless movement. Layers of blue are built and worn back, revealing traces of what lies beneath, while textured marks echo the rhythms of tide and current.
Neither a specific place nor a fixed moment, the work sits between memory and imagination. It invites a lingering gaze, offering a sense of immersion in the vastness and mystery of the ocean.
